Bill: I m excited to work with Harden, I hope to stay with the Clippers for a long time

Basketball

The Los Angeles Clippers held a media day event for the new season, during which the team's new backcourt player Bradley Beal was interviewed by reporters. In the interview, Bill talked about his injury situation and whether the Clippers will become his long-term affiliation.

When talking about his current injury situation, Bill said that his right knee still has inflammation. He said: When I was playing in the Phoenix Suns last season, I tried to play with injuries. After the season, I did some checks and now I feel very good and I am ready for everything to play. No matter what the Clippers need me to do, I will do my best to execute it. I hope to end my career with the Clippers, and I have worked with some very good point guards in my career. Now I'm going to work with James Harden, and I'm very excited about that.

When asked if he wanted the Clippers to be his long-term ownership, Bill continued: 100% of that. My wife is from here, so joining the Clippers made our transition smoother and much easier than before, but I really like it here and I like to stay in a team like this. I train here almost every offseason, so for me, my adaptation in life is not too great. I'm already very familiar with Los Angeles and my family loves it so I hope I can finish my career here. This is my goal, and this is my ultimate goal. This is also the issue I talked to team director Lawrence Frank. Of course, for me, I also know that I must continue to perform well and continue to help the team win more games, and things will naturally come naturally in the future.

In the NBA regular season last season, Bill played 53 times in 82 games, averaging 32.1 minutes per game, averaging 17 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.5 blocks, and 1.9 turnovers and 2.6 fouls. He shot 49.7%, three-point shooting percentage 38.6%, and free throw shooting percentage 80.3%. Bill's performance last season was very disappointing, and his overall performance was not ideal, which largely led to the Suns cutting him with extended clauses before. After a period of thinking, Bill chose to join the Clippers. The Clippers' lineup integrity is much better than that of the Suns, and they also have excellent point guards like Harden. I don’t know what will happen next, but what performance can Bill perform after joining the Clippers.
