Carlisle: Nesmith will take on more organizations and a lot of defensive tasks

Basketball

September 29th Pacers Media Day, head coach Carlisle was interviewed and talked about Nemhard's role in the new season with Halliburton absent.

"When Teres (Halliburton) is out, we will fall into a passive position, which is based on the lineup configuration that is expected to be played by Mathering and Nesmith play by No. 3. The second main control point will be lost on the court, and Pascal (Siakam) will become the actual other ball-holding core in that lineup.

In this way, the original three ball-holding points, including Pascal, will be reduced to two, which means Nesmith needs to take on heavier organizational responsibilities, and he always shoulders a lot of defensive tasks."
