Congratulations! The Kings are interested in signing Westbrook

Basketball

According to famous reporter Sam Amik, the Sacramento Kings are interested in signing Russell Westbrook.

Although the Kings are now full of talents in the backcourt, including Schroeder, Zach Laven, Malik Monk, Keane Ellis and Devin Carter, Kings general manager Scott Perry especially appreciates Sbruck.

Westbrook refused to execute next season's player option with the Denver Nuggets and is now a free agent. Westbrook has been in contact with several teams throughout the offseason, but has not reached a signing contract so far.

Westbrook played mainly as a substitute in the Denver Nuggets last season, averaging 27.9 minutes per game, scoring 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 6 assists, shooting percentage of about 44.9% and three-point shooting percentage of around 32.3%. As a veteran substitute, he still showed certain organizational ability and impact power in a limited time, and performed well in the playoffs elimination of the Clippers.
