Durant s deal is expected to be reached within 72 hours! Three teams negotiate in-depth, and the league is afraid of stealing the finals

On June 14, ESPN reporter Shams said on the show that as the draft approaches, Durant's trade negotiations are becoming more and more intense. The Houston Rockets, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves are the teams that have recently conducted in-depth negotiations with the Suns on a potential deal on Durant.

Shams mentioned: "The Suns have received inquiries from about 6 to 8 teams, which have expressed interest, made offers and started negotiations. But as far as I know, in the past 24 to 48 hours, the Suns' negotiations have focused on several teams: the Houston Rockets, the Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves. At present, these three teams are the main potential next players in the Durant trade." Previously, NBA insider Ary revealed that Durant's potential next players have been reduced to the Rockets and the Timberwolves.

Earlier this week, Shams reported that the Suns, Durant and their business partner and agent Ritchie Kleiman were screening potential trading options, and mentioned that the Rockets, Heat, Timberwolves, Knicks and Spurs could all become the next home of the super forward. But then, reports from several Knicks with the team reporters showed that New York was not chasing Durant, and the latest report also pointed out that the possibility of the Spurs successfully acquiring the former MVP is gradually decreasing.

Even so, the Spurs (+100) still ranks first in Durant's latest odds list, with the Heat rising from the original +1000 to +250, ranking second, the Timberwolves +400 ranked third, and the Rockets +600 ranked fourth. Famous reporter Sidery said the Durant deal appears to be expected to be concluded in the next 72 hours.

Sidery also said that the Heat were unwilling to include Wel in the deal about Durant, but were willing to send Jaime Hax or Nikola Jovic. The Heat's offer to Durant for the Suns will be centered on Hax or Jovic, with the necessary salary matching chips and draft pick assets.

This does not mean that the Rockets, Heat and Timberwolves are the only teams that are still competing. Suns Gambadoro said on the show that in addition to the three teams mentioned by Shams, he is also paying attention to the Spurs, Raptors and Clippers, and there may be other "dark horse" teams joining. ESPN also mentioned today that the Clippers may be Durant's potential next home.

It is worth noting that Shams and Gambadoro both believe that the deal may be reached early before the draft. Gambadoro once said the deal will be completed at some point next week, and Shams agreed when asked about the report on the show: "You said that within a week, I think it may be faster. Some teams have trading motivation, and there may be Durant's trading trends in less than seven days, and we may see related actions in the next few days." In addition, NBC Sports reported that NBA president Adam Xiao and the league office usually discouraged teams from reaching (or at least leaking) blockbuster deals in mid-June to avoid stealing the limelight of the NBA Finals. Therefore, while Durant's trading seems to be progressing, this factor needs to be taken into consideration when predicting the timeline of the deal. The fifth game of the

NBA Finals will be held on June 17. If necessary, the sixth game is scheduled to be held on June 20 and the seventh game will be held on June 23.
