Basketball

Michael Malone has found a new job and will be involved in the NBA countdown program before and halftime in the Western Conference Finals.

The Denver Nuggets have missed the playoffs after losing to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 7 of the second round of the playoffs. Before the playoffs began, the Nuggets made some major adjustments, one of which was the unexpected sack of Michael Malone.

Marron served as the head coach of the Nuggets for a while, and even helped the team win the championship two seasons ago. Obviously, there was some friction between Malone and General Manager Calvin Booth in terms of lineup construction, and the Nuggets eventually fired both of them.

The Western Conference Finals kicked off between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Thunder, and Malone has a new job, and he will be involved in the production of the NBA Countdown pre-match and midfield show, along with Malika Andrews, Stephen A. Smith, Bob Myers, Kendrick Perkins and Shams Charania.

Obviously, Malone has a high understanding of the game, and it would be great if he could understand his views from a coach's perspective and provide a lot of analysis that fans would like.

Michael Malone addressed the Nuggets after being fired, he wrote a touching letter to the team and fans, who has been the team's head coach for many years.

"To the Nuggets fans, I am very honored to be able to lead the team and fight for the team every night," Malone wrote in the Denver Post through Bennett Duranto. Helping Denver win the first NBA championship is an achievement I will always cherish. I will always be grateful for the unwavering love and support you have given me and my family. Denver is my home, and it is my honor to be your coach. Thank you everyone! ”

Marron has led the Nuggets to become one of the top teams in the league over the last few years, and he will undoubtedly find a new coaching job soon. It will be fun to see if there are any coaching vacancies in the offseason, but if not, he may just do something like making an appearance on shows like ESPN.

As for the Nuggets, they will likely look for a coach in the offseason, or they may decide to promote David Adelman as head coach because he took over as head coach after Malone was fired.
