July 15th news Spurs star and French center Wenban Yama recently accepted an interview with Maxime Aubin, a reporter from the motherland media "Team News", revealing that he has recovered from a deep vein thrombosis in the right shoulder.
"I've been allowed to return (the court). That's how things happened - just a few hours ago (last Friday local time), the Spurs doctor gave me the green light. Wow, I can finally play basketball for a while!" Wenban Yama said.
On February 21, the Spurs officially announced that Wenban Yama was reimbursed for the season due to deep vein thrombosis in the right shoulder.
In June this year, Wenban Yama also came to the Shaolin Temple in Songshan, Zhengzhou, Henan, China to practice for a while.
In the 2024-25 season, Wenban Yama played 46 games for the Spurs, averaging 24.3 points, 11 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.1 steals, 3.8 blocks per game.
