The Detroit Pistons' NBA Development League team, Motor City Tour, officially announced that the team has obtained the NBA Development League ownership and 2026 international draft pick from the Denver Nuggets' NBA Development League team, Grand Rapids Gold, through a trade. In order to obtain Bediaco, Motorola Touring sent forward Cameron Martin's NBA Development League ownership, backcourt player Javant McCoy's NBA Development League ownership and the second round 50 pick in the end of the 2025 NBA Development League Drafts to Grand Rapids Gold.

Bediaco was born in March 2002, is 23 years old, 213cm tall and weighs 102kg. He is the undraft in the 2023 NBA Draft. Bediaco had received a standard contract from the San Antonio Spurs after the draft, but because the overall performance failed to meet expectations, he was cut shortly after the 2023-24 season began. Last summer, Bediaco received a training camp contract from the Spurs, but he was eventually cut by the team.

In the last two seasons, Bediaco has been spending the NBA Development League. In the NBA Development League last season, Bediaco made a total of 50 appearances for the Nuggets' subordinate team Grand Rapids Gold, with averaging 24.5 minutes per game, averaging 9.9 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.1 blocks, and 1.6 turnovers and 2.7 fouls. His shooting percentage was 61.6%, three-point shooting percentage was 38.1%, and free throw shooting percentage was 63.4%. Previously, Bediaco also represented Canada in the Copa America. He played 6 games in the Copa America, averaging 10.2 minutes per game, with averaging 4.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 0.7 blocks, and 0.7 turnovers and 0.7 fouls. He shot 85.7% from the field and 11.1% from free throws.

In fact, Bediaco is also a player with relatively distinctive characteristics. His scoring ability and finishing ability at the basket are both good, but he lacks basic independent scoring ability and shooting ability. It is indeed difficult for him to provide basic support to the team on the offensive end. Of course, Bediaco's physical talent and confrontation ability are indeed quite good, and he is also able to take on the tasks of rebounding protection and rim protection on the defensive end. Bediaco is a functional player with obvious advantages and disadvantages. He is basically impossible to grow into a top star, but he may also become a qualified substitute center. I don’t know how the Pistons will operate next. Will they sign Bediaco with a training camp contract containing Exhibit 10?
