May 9th News The Professional Basketball Journalists Association (PBWA) announced the list of the best interview lineup today.
First team: Curry, Durant, Antetokounmpo, Mitchell, Zhu Meng;
First team: Conley, Halliburton, Adebayo, Hart, Lillard.
The remaining 15 players shortlisted: Ban Keiro, Cunningham, DeRozan, Divinzenzo, Huazi, Gobert, Horford, Irving, McCollum, Maxi, Nion, Pozin, Reeves, Van Vritte, and Wenban.
The Best Interview Lineup was once an important part of the NBA's official awards, but it stopped after the 2003-04 season. The PBWA is now reintroducing it as a way to recognize players who consistently provide insight, detail and depth to bring NBA stories to life while fulfilling (or exceeding) their authorized media obligations.
PBWA consists of more than 200 writers and editors who regularly cover the NBA for newspapers, magazines and online news media.
