Hupu reported on November 20 that US media TheAthletic reporter Joe Vardon reported that a team source stated that Mark Cuban is now an advisor to Mavericks owner Patrick Dumont. This source reiterated Cuban's previous statement that "the team will not trade Anthony Davis", but the final decision still lies in Dumont's hands.
Joe Vardon said that after Nico Harrison was fired, the Mavericks still have two basketball executives as the team's co-general managers, namely Matt Riccardi and Michael Finley.
