Ajax official: Salzburg midfielder Gruch joins, transfer fee of 17.25 million euros

Hupu August 2nd News Ajax, Salzburg Red Bull and Oscar Gruch have reached an agreement on the transfer of the midfielder.

The 21-year-old Israeli player signed a five-year contract that lasts until June 30, 2030.

Ajax agreed on a transfer fee of €14.75 million with the Austrian club. Taking into account various factors, the transfer fee may rise to €17.25 million. The international, who will be named "Oscar", has previously contracted with the Austrian club until the summer of 2027.

Israeli international Gruch was born on April 1, 2004 in Rehovot, Israel. He played for the Maccabi youth training in Tel Aviv and transferred to Red Bull Salzburg in January 2023. In his first season with the Austrian team, he won the league championship with the team.
