Alejandro Garnacho is expected to leave Manchester United this summer

Football

Where Alejandro Garnacho will play next season is still uncertain, but one thing seems to be increasingly likely, that is, he won't play at Manchester United.

After a tough 2024/25 season, he worked hard to establish his main position under new coach Ruben Amorin, and the Argentine winger has reportedly agreed to explore leaving Old Trafford in the coming months.

Chelsea is said to be one of the clubs interested in his services. According to reports, mainland Europe is also interested in them, most notably Bayer Leverkusen, now coached by former Manchester United coach Eric Tenhager, as well as Naples, former Manchester United players Scott McTominay and Romelu Lukaku currently play for Naples.

Despite constant speculation, Garnacho doesn't seem to let uncertainty affect his downtime. The 20-year-old recently flew to Rome for vacation with his partner Eva Garcia and their young children.

Garcia shared a series of photos on Instagram capturing their time to the Italian capital. These photos include selfies with Garnacho, visits to iconic landmarks such as the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain, and snapshots of the family dining at local restaurants and bars. A particularly cozy photo shows Garcia and Garnacho taking a photo with their son in the mirror, giving fans a look at their family life.

Garnacho also posted a photo of himself outside the Colosseum on his Instagram story, although so far he has not shared anything on his main profile, as he has done since speculation about his Manchester United future began to intensify.

Nevertheless, in the sun-drenched walks, the beautiful scenery and the vast amount of pasta on the menu, perhaps the young winger is tasting the Italian lifestyle, or even a sign of what is about to happen.
