Frankfurt official: Japanese international Arito joins, transfer fee of 22 million euros

Hupu, August 7th, Frankfurt officially announced that Japanese international Arito officially joined from Freiburg, and his contract is valid until June 30, 2030.

He will wear the No. 20 jersey.

The 27-year-old striker started his football career in Gamba, Osaka. He first transferred overseas in 2017. Don'anlu played for four seasons in the Netherlands, playing for Groningen Football Club and Eindhoven Football Club, with a total of 130 appearances, scoring 29 goals and contributing 13 assists.

The Japanese international was also loaned to Bielefeld Football Club in the Bundesliga. In the 2020/21 season, he contributed 5 goals and 3 assists to help the team succeed in relegation. In the summer of 2022, Doon Leon moved to Freiburg, where he grew up to be an experienced Bundesliga player. He made 123 appearances for the club, scored 26 goals and contributed 23 assists. Last season, Don Anlu contributed 10 goals and 8 assists in the Bundesliga, playing a key role in the team's advancement to the European game.

Do Anri is also a regular visitor to the Japanese national team. Since his debut in 2018, he has made 57 appearances for his motherland, scored 10 goals and contributed nine assists.
