Keane: England can t always count on Kane, other offensive players need to play a role

Football

June 8th, this morning, in the third round of Group K of the World Cup in the World Cup, England defeated the weak Andorra 1-0, and Roy Keane commented on the game after the game.

Keane said: "We always try to make excuses for England, but I think when they scored, they felt that they had completed the task. (I don't try hard to attack anymore). I was really disappointed with the England team's attitude after the goal today. The head coach of England would not be satisfied with their players' performance in the last half hour. England players should strive to score more goals at the time, and they can't always count on Kane. Other offensive players also need to play a role."

Keane also criticized Kane for his comments after the game, "We got 3 points and can continue to move forward." Keane said: "I don't like the leader players in England sending such a message, as if the team's mission has been completed, you can accept this result, and you can do whatever you want. You should set the standard higher."
