Manchester United accepts loan quotes from European giants: Hoylund s transfer includes key terms

Football

Rasmus Hoylund has reached an agreement with Naples to leave Manchester United before the transfer deadline. The Italian giants will sign the Danish international on loan, with the agreement including a mandatory buyout clause.

Although Manchester United has strengthened the front line this summer, Hoylund, 22, had hoped to win a place in Old Trafford. However, so far this season, he has never been on Amorin's match day roster.

Manchester United spent £200 million this summer to bring in Matteus Cunia, Benjamin Sesco and Brian Mbemo, and are currently seeking to recover funds by selling players. According to Sky Sports, Naples' offer will ensure United earn a considerable income next summer.

Naples will pay a £5 million loan fee for the loan of Hoylund, with the total value of the whole transaction likely exceeding £43 million – if Naples qualify for the Champions League, a £38 million buyout fee must be paid.

Hoylund, who had previously joined Manchester United from Atlanta for £72 million and signed a five-year contract, failed to meet his expected performance at Old Trafford: scoring just 14 goals in 62 Premier League appearances.

However, the deal still requires Hoylund and Naples to finalize personal terms. The young forward will be the second straight summer of Scott McTominay joining Serie A from Manchester United - McTominay has performed well after transferring to Naples.

Manchester United's transfer operation may not be over: Cobe Menu is also pushing for the departure and is willing to permanently join the team coached by Antonio Conte.

But so far, Manchester United is reluctant to approve whether Menu is seeking a permanent transfer or a temporary loan. However, so far this season, Menu has not yet obtained even one minute of playing time in the Premier League.

When asked about the potential transfers of Hoylund and Maynu, as well as the deal for Alejandro Garnacho to join Chelsea, Amorin clearly expressed his attitude towards Maynu: "I am not convenient to say more until the matter is officially confirmed.

"I hope Kobe will make his own statement. He needs to fight for his position, and we need Cobe - that won't change.

"I understand that players who have not been able to play at the moment will be disappointed, but everyone will have a fair chance to play. The key is to strive for it."
