Manchester United and Chelsea suffer a blow, £85m winger "will" to join Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur is eager to sign a new winger after missing Brian Mbemu and is reportedly planning a new transfer for another Premier League star that Manchester United and Chelsea both look to.

Enzo Maresca and Ruben Amorin may not be able to target

It is reported that Tottenham has targeted Mohammed Kudus of West Ham for a big deal. The winger of the Hammers, 24, has performed impressively since he transferred from Ajax two years ago, making 80 appearances for the East London team, scoring 19 goals and 13 assists, attracting the attention of Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea.

Tottenham Hotspur, led by new manager Thomas Frank, is eager to strengthen their roster this summer. But they seem to have missed Brian Mbemo and allowed him to transfer to Manchester United, marking a slow progression for Tottenham in the transfer window.

Tottenham had made a £70 million offer for Mbemo in mid-June, and Frank hopes to return to the Cameroon national team after six years of successful play at Brentford. However, Mbemo said he only wants to play for Manchester United, and the Red Devils are expected to complete the deal before the Premier League starts.

Frank is eager to inject fresh talent into Tottenham as they are preparing for their return to the Champions League, and they defeated Manchester United in the Europa League final in May, ensuring their place in the European game.

Tottenham Hotspur is interested in West Ham winger Mohamed Kudus

According to the Daily Telegraph, Tottenham hopes to introduce Kudus at a price far below its 85 million pound termination clause.

An informal transfer ban has existed between Tottenham and West Ham since 2015, when Tottenham chairman Daniel Levi blocked Emmanuel Adebayo from joining West Ham.

However, Tottenham hopes to break the ban, and West Ham is reportedly willing to sell Kudus to raise funds for their big summer blood exchange.

Kudus is a popular player this summer, although his contract with the East London club will not expire until 2028, he is rumored to have a termination clause that may be activated in the first 10 days of July, although they may avoid paying if Tottenham agrees to pay a fee.

West Ham head coach Graham Porter praised Kudus' dedication last season after missing five games after being sent off for slapping Mick Van der Van in October.

"He has been working hard since we were here, and I have said that in many press conferences," Porter said. "We can see his talent and his potential, but it is our responsibility and our own to strive for more."
