Manchester United former player: Amorin is the right candidate; players can speak out instead of posting to social media

Manchester United former player and treble champion David May expressed support for Red Devils coach Amorin in an interview recently.

David May said: "I think Amorin is the absolutely right coach. I like his approach and the way he speaks. I think United will develop very well under his coach. It's just that some players and their mentality need to change, and some of them have to leave. What we need are players who are willing to do their best and don't question the coach's decision.

"Of course, you can question things, such as if you don't get a chance to play, then you should go to the coach and say it in his office, not in front of the media or on social media. We all see what some players do, and that is extremely disrespectful.

"We can also look at the body language of some players. I would rather my team be all made up of ordinary players who are willing to fight than these 'big guys' who don't care about the team. As a player, only when you leave the club will you find 'wow, that's such a special place'. "I talked to Amorin and he said 'Manchester United is really great and special, but I feel like I failed the fans and I didn't lead the team to play the ideal result'.
