Materazzi: I had the opportunity to join Roma but the offer was too low at the time. Inter Milan is still the strongest in Serie A

October 21st: In an interview, Inter Milan legend Materazzi talked about Roma, Inter Milan and other topics.

Materazzi first revealed: "After the 2006 World Cup, I had the opportunity to join Roma, but their trade offer at the time was too low. I ended up staying at Inter Milan, and I think I performed pretty well. I would have loved to play with Totti and De Rossi, and I believe we could have won some honors together."

In the last round of Serie A, Inter Milan defeated Roma 1-0 away from home, and the two teams currently have 15 points together. Materazzi continued: "There are currently many teams in Serie A that are only 2 or 3 points apart, but I think the strongest one is Inter Milan. Over the years, they have shown great balance, strength, and quality in team building. Inter Milan won beautifully against Roma, but it seemed a bit difficult in the last 15 minutes. Inter Milan lost two games before, but quickly rebounded and is proving that it deserves to be first. Milan is also experiencing a very good season, partly because they do not need to participate in the European war."
