On August 19, local time in Italy, the defending Serie A champion Naples Club officially announced that it would sign 24-year-old Spanish left-back Miguel Gutierrez from Girona and sign until June 2030. It is reported that the fixed transfer fee is 18 million euros, including surcharges, which can reach 20 million.

The Spanish left-back arrived in Rome this Monday for a medical examination arranged by Naples and then officially signed a five-year contract. According to tradition, the first was the announcement by the club chairman De Laurentis, and the club issued a formal statement a moment later.

Gutierrez just turned 24 last month and is a regular visitor to the Spanish U21 team, helping the team win the Olympic men's football gold medal. He is a Real Madrid youth training player and transferred to Girona for 4 million euros in 2022 and played well in this La Liga club.

It is reported that Gutierrez's fixed transfer fee is 18 million euros, plus 2 million surcharges, but Girona can only receive 50% of the transfer fee, and the others belong to Real Madrid.

However, Gutierrez suffered an ankle injury in May and his return date is not yet determined. On August 19, local time, the Premier League Wolves officially announced that they would sign 23-year-old Cameroonian right-back Jackson Chatchoa from Verona. The two sides signed a contract for five years until June 2030.

In the summer of 2023, Verona introduced Chateggia on loan from Charleroi, and bought it out for 3.95 million euros a year later. Last season, he made 36 appearances in 38 league rounds in Serie A. In the two seasons, he played a total of 62 games in the Serie A, contributing 2 goals and 5 assists.

According to the German transfer market website, Chatchoa's transfer fee is 12.5 million euros. And so far, Verona spent about 11 million in the summer transfer window.

Chatgeoa signed with Wolves until the summer of 2030 and has the right to renew his contract for another year, and the Cameroonian right-back may play for Wolves until 2031. A statement on the Wolves website reads: "The Belgian-born right-wing defender is a Cameroon international. His contract includes an option to renew his contract for another 12 months. He joined after two years in the Italian top league. Last season, he was recognized as the fastest player in Serie A."

"The 23-year-old started his career in Charleroi, Belgium. He made his debut four years ago, serving as a full-back and assists despite being a young man."

Chatgeoa became Verona's third profitable deal this summer, after defender Coppola joined Brighton with a transfer fee of just under 12 million euros, and Girardi's transfer to Roma eventually brought 11.5 million to the club (a season loan for 2.5 million). On August 19, local time in Italy, after selling Cameroon's right-back Chateau Gioa to Wolves, Serie A club Verona officially announced that it would purchase goods from Belgium again, signing Mechelen's 23-year-old Algerian right-back Rafik Bergali to replace him, and the two sides signed until June 2029.

Chatgeoa transferred to Wolves for 12 million euros, Verona needed a new right-back, and eventually they recruited troops from Belgium again, introducing the right-wing Bergali, who just turned 23 in June this year. The player was also born in Belgium but chose to play for the Algerian U23 national team.

As a right back, Bergali can also play as the right midfielder in the position. Since the contract with Mechelen expires next summer, Verona reportedly signed the Algerian player for only 2 million euros.

Bergali has played for many youth training clubs such as Eindhoven. He made a name for himself after transferring to Mechelen with 400,000 euros in 2023. Last season, he played 38 times for this Belgian A-level club, contributing one goal and two assists.

On August 18, local time in Italy, the Rome Club officially announced that 25-year-old Albanian central defender Marash Cumbra joined La Liga Mallorca on loan with a buyout option. It is reported that the buyout fee is set to 8 million euros.

This summer, Cumbra was associated with several clubs, but eventually chose to stay in La Liga to play. Cumbra was on loan at Espanyol last season, and they were interested in him along with Sevilla and La Coruña, but in the end the Albanian international chose Majorca.

In 2020, Roma signed Cumbra from Verona for a total price of 29.5 million euros. His development in recent years has not been as expected, and he has been loaned to play football in Sassuolo and Espanyol.

Kumbra has played 68 times for the Red Wolves and scored 4 goals. He was born and raised in Italy, but chose to play for the Albanian national team and has played 24 times so far.
