Neymar attended the Santos contract renewal conference for June + World Cup
June 28 Neymar updated his social media and posted photos of himself attending the press conference for Santos and his physical examination. Previously, Santos, a Brazilian League, announced that Neymar would renew his contract for 6 months, with an option to renew his contract.
Nemar returned to join in February this year and signed for 6 months. So far, Neymar has played 12 games for Santos, scoring 3 goals and assisting 3 times.
The renewal agreement maintains Neymar's monthly salary of more than 4 million reais (about 624,000 euros, about 5.229,000 RMB) and reaffirms the image and marketing rights payment terms of 85 million reais (about 13.22 million euros, about 111 million RMB) in the first contract. The debt should now be paid by the end of 2026.
It is reported that Neymar's new contract will be held in December this year, by which time the players' team will reassess market conditions. The players' main goal is to participate in the 2026 World Cup, return to the Brazilian national team and participate in this event for the last time in their career.
