Official: Inter Milan CEO Marotta elected to the Executive Board of the European Football Club Association

According to official news on October 9, Inter Milan CEO Marotta was elected as a member of the executive board of the European Football Club Association (EFC).

The organization is a joint organization of European football clubs. It has recently completed a name change and was renamed from the European Club Association (ECA) to the European Football Club Association (EFC).

Marotta was elected at the EFC General Assembly in Rome and will join the Executive Board as an Italian representative.

Marotta said: "It is of course very gratifying to represent a large club in the context of Inter playing a key role. I believe that Italian football is an important part of European football and in particular needs to strengthen dialogue, given that there is a natural and logical symbiotic relationship between Europe and Italy, which will certainly help to fully protect our common football cause."
