Photo newspaper refutes rumors: Enkunku s annual salary is 20 million euros, no longer in line with Leipzig s salary structure

Hupu August 11th, German media photo newspaper RB Leipzig team refuted the rumors about Enkunku.

According to the British Guardian and the Dutch Daily Telegraph, Nkunku will be included in Chelsea's negotiations regarding Xavi Simmons.

Chelsea once spent 60 million euros to sign the French international (appeared 14 times for the French national team). Nkunku, however, isn't really happy at Stamford Bridge.

Leipzig's top leaders did not ignore this fact. The former top scorer (scoring 70 goals and 56 assists in 172 RB Leipzig games) is still considered a very attractive player.

However, what the picture newspaper can reveal is that no matter what, whether it is a transfer or loan, the possibility of Nkunku being included in the transaction has been rejected, mainly because Nkunku no longer meets the team's salary structure.

Sports Director Marcel Schefell has to cut the salary of players in the existing roster by 20%, so he is gradually cutting high-paying players. Nkunku's current annual salary at Chelsea is estimated at €20 million, so he cannot accept offers - just like other Chelsea players who have been included in the Simmons swap trade before.
