Raheem Sterling, 8-year-old son signs Arsenal youth training camp

Football

Raheem Sterling was loaned to Arsenal in 2024-25, hoping to revive his career after being deemed unable to meet Chelsea’s demands.

But the 30-year-old scored just one goal in 28 appearances in various competitions, failing to become the main player of the Arsenal team. More complicated, Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca has confirmed that Sterling is not in the future roster of Stamford Bridge, leaving the Englishman in uncertainty before entering the summer.

However, while the situation of this 82 appearances for the England national team is unclear, the new Sterling has made great strides in North London. Rahim’s 8-year-old son Thiago officially joined Arsenal’s famous Hale End youth camp to sign with Arsenal’s U9 team, taking his first step in football.

Sterling's partner, Page Milian, shared the news in a moving Instagram post, celebrating her son's achievements with photos of Thiago holding an Arsenal jersey and proudly signing a contract with his parents.

"I am proud that my eldest son Thiago signed with @officialarsenalacademy U9," she wrote. “The growth, dedication and hard work you have shown over the past year is incredible; it’s what you deserve,” he added. "It's just the beginning, so be down-to-earth, stay humble, keep honing, and the journey won't stop there." At the moment, Sterling's own career may be at a crossroads -- but his son's journey at Arsenal has just begun.
