May 15th According to TheAthletic, Brighton is seeking to buy Kuabano of Botafogo.

It is reported that Brighton is chasing Brazilian side player Cuabano, and Botafogo has rejected two offers. Brighton is seeking a chance to sign Botafogo's left-wing player Cuabano, the 22-year-old Brazilian player only joined Botafogo from Gremio last year, with a contract that will last until June 2027. However, Brighton has listed Cuabano as a signing target this summer.

Although Bottafogo has rejected two official offers from Premier League clubs. The first offer is €5 million plus an additional €2 million surcharge, while the second offer is €5 million plus €3 million. In addition, the second offer was the same as the one that Türkiye's team Fenerbahce was rejected in January. Given Cuabano's performance as a winger scored two goals in three games, interest in him is increasing as the transfer window is about to open.

Kuabano can play the left or left back position in the midfield, and he made 19 appearances for Botafogo this season, scoring two goals and contributing three assists. He made a total of 49 appearances at the club and helped the team win last year's Liberators Cup and its first Brazilian La Liga title since 1995.
