US media proposes a win-win deal for Rockets and Hornets 5 to 2

Basketball

Recently, the US media proposed that the Rockets and Hornets exchange 5 for 2 to reach a win-win deal.

For specific chip situations, the Rockets sent out three first round picks from Van Vreett and Whit Molga, and the Hornets replaced LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges.

The Hornets have been playing badly all year round. Ball has expressed his willingness to leave many times and wants to go to a team that can win. This is the ideal goal for the lack of point guard Rockets, because Ball is only 24 years old this year, averaging 25.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 7 assists per game, which is completely in line with the needs.

Miles Bridges is 27 years old and is a high-quality 3D player. He averaged 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game this season.

After the Rockets received these two players, the team generally improved significantly and had the strength to strive for the championship.

The Hornets get Van Vreet and Whitmore, and can rebuild while playing. Whitmore can definitely play. Van Vreet can give up and clear out $44 million in salary space. The three first round picks received were quite high, because the Rockets had poor record before, so this was a win-win deal.
