June 13th, Manchester United legend Leo Ferdinand recently accepted an interview with talksport, suggesting that Yorke follow his example and put pressure on the club to facilitate the transfer to Manchester United.

Many Manchester United fans hope that under Amorin, the team will start rebuilding this summer. Manchester United ranked 15th in the Premier League last season, their worst result in the Premier League era.

Although they worked hard to qualify for the Champions League, this hope was shattered after losing to Tottenham in the UEFA Cup final. Manchester United only scored 44 goals in the Premier League season, especially the problem of insufficient goals at home is particularly prominent.

Amorin understands that offensive firepower needs to be strengthened next season, as Hoylen and Zilkere only scored 7 goals in the league. So the attention turned to Portugal Sports’ scorer Yorkez, who had performed well under Amorin and was eager to leave the club this summer.

Previously, Yorke had been rumored to transfer with Arsenal, but the popularity has declined in recent weeks, and the possibility of transfer to Manchester United remains. However, the main obstacle facing Yorke is Portuguese sports president Valandas. It is believed that the two sides had reached a gentleman agreement to allow Yorke to leave the team for about £59 million, but Valandas is now asking for a transfer fee of £85 million, which has made Yorke displeased.

Ferdinand suggested that Yorke follow his example when he transferred from Leeds United to Manchester United in 2002, put pressure on the board to complete the transfer at a reasonable price: "I will stay in his office and keep him from leaving. I will even stay in his bedroom, living room and kitchen, leaving him nowhere to escape."

Although Ferdinand admitted that he was reserved about whether Yorke was suitable for Manchester United, he also recognized Yorke's performance at Portugal Sports. However, he believes that Napoli striker Osmain may be more suitable for Manchester United.

"I think he has some good traits, but I haven't seen enough games to fully believe him. However, it's undeniable that he knows how to score and he has performed well in Portugal for several consecutive seasons. For Manchester United now, I'll choose a more experienced player, like Osmaine."

Ferdinand also mentioned Manchester United's appeal globally, especially after Cunnia's transfer from Wolves to Manchester United. Cunha completed the transfer without hesitation, despite the current poor situation: "I think Manchester United still has that charm, making the players want to be part of it, and the key is how to market the opportunity."
