French media: British fans imitate monkey calls in front of Paris players bus
May 1st According to French media RMC, after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal away, some British fans were photographed imitating monkeys in front of the Parisian player bus.
Video shows five men standing behind a fence outside the parking lot, making monkey screams at the Paris player bus, slapping their chests and scratching their armpits, obviously imitating the monkey’s behavior.
It is reported that whenever a member of a dark-skinned Paris delegation passed by, these fans made such a racially discriminatory voice. Although the incident did not last long, it had already made the Paris team very dissatisfied and decided to record the video as evidence.
This is not the first time Paris Saint-Germain has encountered such an incident in the Champions League. Last year, in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Barcelona, some Barcelona fans were photographed performing Nazi ceremonies at the Park Princes and making monkey calls to Paris fans.
In the end, UEFA fined 25,000 euros for this, on the grounds of "racist behavior of fans".
