Gallish s summer window dilemma: I m asking for a leave of the team alone, Guardiola nods

After Manchester City teammates finished their long season and won the Club World Cup, England international Gralish chose to return to the team a week early and signed up alone. The move highlights his eagerness to leave the Etihad Stadium.

The 29-year-old striker will start preseason training alone this week, according to the Daily Telegraph. Gallish was not included in the 27-man Club World Cup roster, and therefore failed to get the same vacation as other teammates. He has been in shape under the guidance of personal coach Reynolds throughout the summer.

When the summer window opened this year, Galish was told that he could leave the team, but the transfer transaction has not been finalized so far.

Guardiola expressed his opinion: leaving the team is the best strategy

Manchester City coach Guardiola has made it clear that Gallish needs game time, and leaving the team is the best choice for him. Guardiola said: "He has communicated with the club, and both sides think that (left) is the best decision. Jack is an outstanding player. He has fewer chances last season, and the only reason for his decision is of course my decision. We (together) decided that he needs to go to a place where he can play. The club is honest, and he is also honest.

We agreed that the best option is to leave and find a place where he can get himself back. Just like he did during the entire career at Aston Villa, or like he knew when we won the Triple Crown season. Without him, we would have been even harder in that Triple Crown season.
