Guoan Club hires the Dutch youth training director and has trained and discovered Depp and Wijnaldum

On the evening of August 12, Beijing Guoan Club announced to the public that it would hire Richard Grootscholten as the club's youth training director.

Richard is 60 years old and is a Dutch native. He holds a UEFA professional coaching license and is experienced. He has more than 35 years of experience in coaching, youth training directors and sports directors of teams of all ages around the world, and has served as a coaching lecturer in the Dutch Football Association.

Richard was the youth training director at Feyenoord and Spartan Rotterdam in the Dutch Eredivisie, and trained many world-class high-level professional players including Memphis Depp, Zilkze, Wijnaldum, and helped the club win the Netherlands Best Academic Academy Award when he was the youth training director of Spartan Rotterdam. During his tenure at White Waves in Vancouver, he discovered Alfonso Davis. In addition, Richard has also performed duties in many countries such as Poland and Russia, helping the local youth training system and succeed.
