What does the Bundesliga championship mean to you?

- Obviously, I'm very happy and grateful, and I hope my story will be wonderful for many people. After Burnley's upgrade and relegation, I gained the trust of Bayern, I felt their trust and then had the opportunity to win the Bundesliga title, which is very special. I think this is the beginning, and I believe that a generation of Belgian coaches will emerge in the future.

- I'm still following the Hamburg team and praying for them. I love Munich, but Hamburg is also a great city and I would love to go to Hamburg next season.

Did your status as a coach change because of winning the championship?

- I was inspired when I was 17 or 18, when I was one of the most talented players in Europe. Later I experienced a lot of injuries, and I experienced everything the media is good at - they can make you famous and can also belittle you to a worthless amount. As a player, I learned to focus on myself and my attitude will affect my performance. As a coach, the situation is a little different and you need to make sure the team is working well. It doesn’t matter what others think of me, what’s important is that the team is running well. I don't want to give anyone the impression that I'm resting, I've always wanted to keep moving forward.
