May 28th According to the BBC, Liverpool fan Jack Trott and his girlfriend Abby Gallagher talked about the process of the car hitting a person in the victory parade.

It is reported that a man from Northern Ireland was hit by a car during the Liverpool Football Club victory parade and said he felt "very lucky" to survive. Trotter and his girlfriend Gallagher are from Newtown Alz in County Down when they were filming videos of the celebration when a car rushed into the crowd of fans on Liverpool's Water Street. The incident occurred around 6pm BST on Monday, with thousands of Liverpool fans gathering in Liverpool city centre for the Premier League victory parade.

Trott said in an interview with the BBC: "My first reaction was: 'Where is Abi? I need to find Abi. Where is she?' You know she might be anywhere, and luckily she called my name and I found her."

Trott had a wound to his back and leg and now he needs to walk with a crutch. He said he was grateful that he was still "alive" after the incident and expressed his gratitude to those who helped and supported him.

Speaking of this, Trott said: "What happened made me fall from extreme excitement to the bottom all of a sudden, if you can understand that. When I was hit, I didn't feel pain immediately due to the effects of adrenaline. But I soon realized, well, something was wrong here."

Then the pain started to appear and he couldn't walk. Trotter described that the day before the accident, it was "very great", especially meeting Van Dijk. Speaking about this, he said: "There are crowds of people, and Liverpool fans have been singing from the time we took the train at 9 am until before the accident."

Gallagher said in an interview: "I saw a car rushing towards you, I screamed and didn't know what to do. I only remember that the car was there, I was on the driver's side, Jack was on the passenger side. I put my hand on the hood to protect myself, and then pushed the car away. I only remember shouting, 'Where is Jack?' I cried hysterically and heard him say, 'I'm here, I'm here.' I didn't find Jack about five minutes later, and after seeing him we hugged each other. Cherish your loved ones, that's the most important thing. To be honest, you have to be grateful and realize that all this could be taken away in an instant."
