November 20 According to TyC Sports, Argentine Football Association President Claudio Tapia once again emphasized that he hopes that head coach Scaloni will continue to coach the Argentine national team after the 2026 World Cup and looks forward to renewing his contract until 2030.

Tapia said on OléSummit: "What we value is sports planning, and I hope that Scaloni and his entire coaching staff can stay until 2030. If I only looked at the results, I would not have hired him at the beginning. What I was thinking about was to establish a national team system that we have never had before."

Scaloni has been in charge of Argentina since 2018, and his current contract with the national team will last until the 2026 World Cup. Now, with only a few months left before the start of the World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico, Tapia has publicly stated that he hopes Scaloni will continue to lead the Argentina team for another four years.
