As a major city in basic education in our province, Xuzhou's campus football ecology is becoming increasingly perfect - it has 305 national youth campus football special schools, creating 2 national and 3 provincial football special counties (cities, districts); a sunny league system composed of "Principal Cup", "County (city) District Mayor Cup" and "Mayor Cup", and its influence continues to increase. The "Mayor's Cup" alone attracts more than 80 teams and more than 1,700 athletes to participate in the competition every year, and drives more than 30,000 young people to participate in football.

Xuzhou campus football can flourish and be rooted in a solid policy soil. In 2012, Xuzhou formulated the "Implementation Opinions on Carrying out the Campus Football Activities of Youth Campus Football in Xuzhou" and made systematic deployment; in 2015, the "Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Development of Football in Xuzhou" was issued, clarifying the direction of medium- and long-term reforms and continuously injecting development momentum into campus football.

Lingcheng Town Central Primary School in Suining County has a campus football team composed of rural girls. With the support of the government and schools, the coach Kanazawa Se, who has become a monk from the "half-way" of learning volleyball, has led his children to train and participate in the competition for more than 10 years. From the beginning of the team building in 2015, there were only a few people, to last year's victory in the "Mayor's Cup" double championship and representing Xuzhou in this year's "Governor's Cup", this team has a total of nearly 30 people selected for the Xuzhou Women's Football Team, and 2 people have entered the provincial team.

Fu Guizhong, director of the Sports, Health and Art Department of Xuzhou Municipal Education Bureau, introduced that with the government's continuous increase in investment, the city of Xuzhou has reached 1,259 football venues, and more and more children are willing to contact and participate in football. More importantly, Xuzhou campus football has achieved a profound transformation from policy promotion to school active practice, from encouraging participation to focusing on talent training.

Yunlong District, as the first "National Youth Campus Football Pilot Zone" in Xuzhou City, has mobilized the entire district to create a sustainable campus football ecology - taking events at all levels as a starting point to achieve the goal of "everyone participates in campus football, promotes social forces, and complete training system", and build a "pyramid"-style football talent training echelon.

Xuzhou Jinpu West Road Primary School is one of the earliest schools in Yunlong District and even Xuzhou to develop football. The school has clarified the development path of football's characteristic - regularly select and breed "seedlings", formulate training plans in a targeted manner, and dynamically adjust teaching plans; expand the venue, increase training equipment, and strengthen faculty; pay attention to the integration of "learning and training competitions", and recommend outstanding players to participate in youth training.

Now, Jinpu West Road Primary School displays 34 municipal championship trophys, won the Jiangsu Provincial Little Football Championship 14 times, won the national "Beibei Cup" runner-up and the "New Year Cup" championship, and trained more than 10 national team members including Sun Ke. This time, graduate Li Guangpeng has played three games with Xuzhou team.
