June 1: After Paris Saint-Germain won the Champions League championship, Paris fans were in extreme form when celebrating. French media RMC revealed that the police have arrested at least 294 people.

In the Champions League final this season, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Inter Milan 5-0 and successfully won the championship. This is the first Champions League trophy in the history of the Paris Saint-Germain Club, so the fans were very excited and went out to celebrate. Some fans said: "We had a lot of pressure at the beginning of the game, but we scored early and got better and better. It was the happiest day of our lives." The celebration was joyful at the beginning, but then violence occurred. The Paris police have formulated large-scale security operations in advance and dispatched 5,400 police officers and military police to maintain order. First, there was a fan clash on the Paris Ring Road, with fans damaging roadblocks and trying to attack the police. The police used a high-pressure water gun and then arrested nine people. The conflict was mainly concentrated on Ring Road and the Champs Elysees, where a shoe store on the Champs Elysees was looted and the police arrested about 30 people. Another car was lit, but the fire was quickly controlled. The situation was even more tense at St. Cloud Gate, with two cars ignited and a bus shelter destroyed, where police used tear gas to disperse the crowd.

Paris police announced at around 22:00 that night that 59 people had been arrested, mainly because of "firing fireworks and incendiary bombs, etc.". According to the latest police statistics, at least 294 people have been arrested during the celebration.

French Interior Minister Bruno Le Tayo condemned on social media: "The real Paris Saint-Germain fans are passionate about the wonderful matches of their team. At the same time, some barbarians took to the streets of Paris to commit crimes and provoked the police. I have asked the domestic security forces to respond strongly to these atrocities."

It is worth mentioning that at 17:00 p.m. local time this Sunday, the entire Paris Saint-Germain team will join the fans in the Champs-Elysées to hold a championship celebration parade. Then more fans will take to the streets, and the safety situation is worrying. Parisian player Dembele has issued a call to ask fans to join in the celebration, but don't ruin anything.
