Paredes said goodbye to Rome: Rome will always be my second home, and I will always keep Rome in my heart
July 11th Argentine midfielder Paredes posted a message to say goodbye to Roma after officially transferring to Boca.
Paledes played for Roma for the first time from 2014 to 2017, and in 2023 he returned to Roma to play football until he left Roma this week to join Boca. Paredes said: "I don't know where to start. When I was a child, you were the first to welcome me, giving me and my family the love they need, and giving us the feeling of home."
Paredes continued: "Roma will always be my second home, this is the first and last team I played in Europe. I am sorry that I did not win some trophys with Rome, but now I leave peacefully and I have given everything I have. My three children are Rome fans, two of them were born in Rome."
Paredes finally said: "It's time to return to the hometown I have always dreamed of. I know that the great Rome fans will understand my choice. Thanks to Rome and Rome, we will always keep you in our hearts and always be Rome fans. I love you."
