World Sports: Chelsea proposes to exchange Nkunku for Fermin, Barcelona refuses

June 7, "World Sports" reported that Barcelona rejected Chelsea's proposal to exchange Nkunku for Fermin.

22-year-old Fermin has become one of the most market-oriented players in Barcelona. Although the midfielder is not the absolute main player under Frick, his outstanding performance at Barcelona this season has caused inquiries from many teams.

This week, El Chiringuito, a six-channel program in Spain, revealed that Chelsea offered 70 million euros to buy Fermin. The World Sports learned from a negotiating person that the Blues' real proposal was actually for players, and they proposed to exchange Fermin with 27-year-old versatile player Enkunku.

However, even though Barcelona does have a forward signing plan this summer (priority to Luis Dias), the club still flatly rejected the offer. Chairman Laporta and coach Frick both rejected the plan to exchange Fermin for Nkunku. Despite the competition with Ormo and Garvey, Ferming still won 46 appearances this season. His contribution made the German coach unwilling to let go, especially the exchange of targets is not a tactical need.
